You should make them sooner rater than later, especially as you get closer to the end of your pregnancy, because baby might take you by surprise! Here’s 10 decisions to make now, to prepare for labour and birth.

1. Who will be in the delivery room?

Do you want dad in the room with you to hold your hand? Or would you rather have him wait in the corridor and have your mum or sister be with you instead? Some couples choose to be together in the delivery room so the husband can provide his wife support and be there when his baby is born. If you decide this isn’t what you want, that’s okay too! Just decide before you get to the hospital so there is no tension or arguing amongst family members to deal with.
