Many of us considered breakfast cereal healthy some years ago. It was advertised as a healthy breakfast, especially for children. But cereal that comes in a box is highly processed and contains a lot of dangerous ingredients. It contains fructose, food dyes, lots of additives, MSG and the by-product formaldehyde, a known carcinogen. The sugary cereals are even worse and may contain cancer causing artificial sweeteners.
