1. Don't be afraid to sleep
If you’re a new mum, you may feel like you need to be awake at all times in case your baby cries. But in reality, you don’t have to. Humans are naturally programmed to wake up when babies cry. As a new mum, this instinct is even stronger. It’s okay if your baby cries for a short time, so don’t be afraid to sleep — you'll wake up when you need to!
