As a new working mum you need to take it as slow as possible. Discuss with your employer the possibility of starting work part-time or starting with a few days a week. This will help make the transition smoother. Also, don't have unrealistic expectations and don't force yourself to perform once you are back. Don't do more tasks just to prove you still got it. Take each challenge as it comes along, without trying to be super working mum. This way, you can get satisfaction both from your work and being a mum.
