Well, as it was with pregnancy cravings, there isn’t much that can be done by these desires after birth. If you are craving sugar based foods, try to limit the amounts you ingest. If you really want chocolate pudding, then there’s no harm in having a treat every now and then.
When it comes to former addiction, it can get a little more complicated. Smoking or drinking while nursing is definitely not a good idea. Not for you or for your baby. So if your post pregnancy craving is cigarettes and wine, try to avoid getting tempted. Your long term health is the best incentive to renounce such cravings.
