8 Kama Sutra positions for sex after giving birth

You may be excited to be able to jump, literally, back into bed with your partner for sex after giving birth. Others, may think of a well deserved rest after what you have just been through.  Either way, it’s actually recommended that you wait around 4-8 weeks before having sex after giving birth. It all depends on the type of delivery you had.

There’s no harm in having lazy sex and the Kama Sutra has many positions which you can use to ease you in to having sex again. Try out these postpartum sex positions that are more gentle and focus on your partner doing all the work, whilst you lay back and enjoy!

In this position, you lie on your back, one leg bent up and the other flat on the ground. Your partner sits down between your legs and pushes a leg under you to lift your hip. This time you have your hands free to play!
