Workers’ Party MP, Lee Li Lian pregnant with first baby

Congratulations are in order for Singaporean politician and local lady, Lee Li Lian! The 35-year old Workers’ Party MP is 3 months pregnant with her first baby. Ms Lee, who is married to Koh Chee Koon, a telecommunications consultant, is expecting a little girl in July.

The couple had always hoped to start a family before she turned 35. She made this comment on Facebook on Monday. “We were one year late but I guess there is a reason why things happen.”

The exact date in July is unknown but it looks like the MP is set to give birth to an impulsive horse year baby. July is considered a ‘hotter’ month in the Lunar calendar, when the fire element is more intense.
